Gideon Kalumbu Phiri is a seasoned accountant and a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (FCMA). He also holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from University of Saskatchewan in Canada on top of a Bachelor of Commerce from University of Malawi. He joined MALSWITCH from Old Mutual where he worked as Financial Controller and Company Secretary. He has also previously worked as Finance Manager at Real Insurance as well as Principal at Malawi College of Accountancy.

| Francis holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Statistics and Computer Science from the University of Malawi, Chancellor College and a Diploma in Business Management from the National Institute of Management and Public Administration in Malaysia. He has over twenty-one years work experience in various Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) environments ranging from Computer Hardware and Software, Tobacco and last eight years in Mobile Telecommunications. He has thorough understanding of Mobile Telecommunications from Operations, Commercial, and General Management perspective. He also has been instrumental in the promotion of ICT in Malawi.

Andy Kamkwalala

Andy Kamkwalala qualified with the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) in May 1999, holds a Bachelor of Accountancy degree and a Master of Business Administration. He is an alumnus of UCT GSB’s Executive Leadership Programme for Management Development.
Andy has served in his current capacity since 2006 when the company was incorporated. In 2008 he took up additional role of Secretary to the Board of Directors and the Board of Trustees for the MALSWITCH Trust. He has been with MALSWITCH since 2001 having been recruited to set up the financial and control systems for the then Malawi Switch Centre Project at the time operating as part of the Reserve Bank of Malawi. Prior to joining MALSWITCH, he was a senior lecturer at Malawi College of Accountancy

Gladson Kuyeri obtained a Master of Communications Management - MCM (the MBA for Telecoms and ICT industry) from Strathclyde Graduate School of Business in Glasgow, Scotland in December 2002 and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from University of Malawi. He is a Chartered Marketer and Member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing. He is an alumnus of UCT GSB’s Executive Leadership Programme for Management Development.
Gladson has a wealth of experience in business development, sales and marketing and wide knowledge of banking, financial services, electronic payment systems, and telecoms sectors in Malawi.
